loring heights

Loring Heights, a small neighborhood in Midtown Atlanta, was developed right after WW II. Most of the original residents were employees of the Atlantic Steel plant. Now this formerly working-class neighborhood is becoming more expensive due to the transformation of the now-deserted steel plant into the Atlantic Station complex. The homes in Loring Heights tend to be modest, one-story brick cottages on quarter-acre lots. It is located about a half mile west of Peachtree and convenient to all major highways, Atlantic Station and Downtown Atlanta, which makes it a very attractive area for young home buyers.
