Three major interstates meet in Atlanta: I-75, I-85 and I-20. The I-285 perimeter circles Atlanta and links all three along its 65- mile radius. Being a major city means traffic can sometimes become and issue. The Georgia Navigator (www.georgia-navigator.com) is a service of the Georgia Department of Transportation, and provides informationon road speeds, traffic congestion and construction. A series of cameras and speed detectors along Atlanta's highways feed data into this multi-media website, allowing Atlantans to actually see what the traffic is going to be like before they even start up their cars.
